mosquitto snap produces high CPU load

Bug Description

Running the MQTT broker mosquitto as snap produced a CPU load of 10-30%. Moving it to a docker container with the same settings reduced the load to 1-2%.

Are there any denials being logged? Anything in dmesg?

Did you move the extracted snap binaries to a container?

I did "snap remove mosquitto" and installed a fresh docker image. There are no logs I know of.
Even /var/snap/mosquitto/ vanished without explicit deleting it.
