Bug Description

Running the latest everything @ 20.04 LTS, and after having installed signal via snap (sudo snap install signal-desktop) there is non-existant status bar integration.

Attached file "1.jpg" shows proper status bar integration for the NIC/network.

Attached file "2.jpg" shows wrong status bar integration for signal. In other news, when the signal icon is open at the top hand right side and I click on it: nothing shows up but a dark and empty menu.

I am not sure if it's because my monitor are both configured in portrait mode or if this happens also on any "regular" display...

This looks like a problem with a snap rather than snapd. According to `snap info signal-desktop`, issues for the signal snap should be reported here: https://github.com/snapcrafters/signal-desktop/issues

Changed in snapd (Ubuntu):
status: New → Invalid
no longer affects: ubuntu-mate
