snapd create snap directory in /root

Bug Description
It seems snapd is creating a snap directory inside /root directory.
It is just an empty tree with snap/core/something if I remember correctly with no files.
It seem to happen when core package are installed because I don't have any other snap package.
I don't want snapd to mess with my /root directory!
