Bug Description

I try to install 'instagraph' from beta channel:
sudo snap install --beta instagraph

and I get this error:
error: cannot communicate with server: Get http://localhost/v2/changes/1: dial unix /run/snapd.socket: connect: connection refused

I tried both on 16.04 and fresh installed 17.04

Hello Turan, thank you for the bug report!

could you add the output of “journalctl -u snapd” to this?

Thank you!

"journalctl -u snapd" gives very old logs.
I tried "journalctl -u snapd.socket":

Apr 24 13:35:25 turan systemd[1]: Starting Socket activation for snappy daemon.
Apr 24 13:35:25 turan systemd[1]: Listening on Socket activation for snappy daemon.
Apr 24 14:15:15 turan systemd[1]: snapd.socket: Unit entered failed state.

The log from the forum post indicates this was a bug in the content interface (fixed in https://github.com/snapcore/snapd/pull/3204). So this should be fixed by now with an update to snapd via the deb.
