Bug Description

This is an SRU bug to release 2.43.1 of snapcraft which follows the guidelines defined in the wiki over at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/SnapcraftUpdates

we disabled the failing tests given that they are too slow now after the patchset and not as representative anymore

Hope the issues with the disabled tests have been reported somewhere for tracking. Wouldn't want disabled tests to stay around for too long.
