Bug Description

Ubuntu 14.04 64Bit

I´ve got a problem with your smplayer version 14.9.0.6675 it plays up some of my mp4 files very fast but the audio part runs normaly

there was a workaround to set the framerate to -fps 23.976 but this creates another problem after i have done this manualy

settings some other of my files does run out of synce

1.Ubuntu 14.04 64 Bit

2.Package: smplayer 14.9.0.6675

3.What you expected to happen: Nothing special

4. What happened instead:The Video runs to fast if you using mp4 to change the settings affects all videos which creates another

problem which is that not all hd h.264 files runs with the same framerate at all.

I don't know, but you're using a large cache. Does this problem still happen if you set the cache to 0 or any other lower value?

It seems mplayer can't find the correct fps. So either it's a bug in mplayer or maybe the video is corrupted.

gnomeplayer is also a frontend for mplayer, so that's why it's also affected by the problem.

I would suggest to try mpv.

You can find here instructions to install mpv and use it with smplayer:
