Please can we get the latest upstream version of smbldap-tools made available?

http://packages.debian.org/sid/smbldap-tools

It would be great if this could also be backported for 8.04 LTS....

Ubuntu 10.04 already has smbldap-tools 0.9.5, so I'm closing this bug. Please see Lennart's link if you want this version backported to Ubuntu 9.10 or earlier version.
