From the dmesg log, it is obvious that *BOTH* slamr & slusb are getting loaded. Do you have two modems on your laptop (USB modem and an internal modem) ?

Right, but this laptop haven't internal modem and only have one USB soft-modem. I don't know why load slamr & slusb when install sl-modem.

When i plug the USB soft-modem all USB ports stop and must reboot the laptop, so i can't plug this USB modem, in truth i have 3G modem Huawei 1550, really this 3G modem see as USB mass storage and work must created one rule into udev, but i think slarm aren't module of Huawei 1550 3G modem at least that Huawei 3G modem (usbserial) and module of sl-modem (slusb or slarm) wanna have same dev "/dev/modem", but i don't know.

Never was two modems at same time, and USB soft-modem haven't rules of udev, because i think that don't need.

Is true that when unistall sl-modem both modules slarm & slmodem disappear, because i made it.

Thank you

Try running the following before inserting the USB modem:

modprobe -r slamr

Also can you send me the output of the following commands:

lsmod
sudo lspci -vvnn

You can see that this module disappear and only be loaded slusb module, but don't solve the problem. You can see into lsmod that have the samsung module too. I think that samsung module don't affect at USB modem.

Thank you.

Please send the output of:

sudo lspci -vvnn

Also, please remove sl-modem-source package:

sudo apt-get remove --purge sl-modem-source

then insert your USB modem, and then send the output of:

lsusb

Thanks...

What do you mean by "block the USB ports" ?

If you mean the samsung_backlight module, that for sure has nothing to
do with the USB modem, it probably has to do with the laptop screen.

Yes, if you remove sl-modem-source package, both slamr & slusb modules
will be removed.
