When i start Kubuntu my phone dies

Bug Description

Binary package hint: sl-modem-daemon

i installed sl-modem-daemon_2.9.10+2.9.9d+e-pre2-5build1_i386.deb
then when i disconnect my dialup connection i cant do phone calls i need to turn off my computer to make them..
or if i turn on my computer and im still not connected to internet via dialup i still cant do phonecalls just because sl-modem is loaded..i hope an expert could fix this problem and notice me thank you

the name of my winmodem in windows is... hsp56 mr
but in ubuntu i its detected like sis ac 97
and i use that smartlink to connect

Could you try to set the correct country in /etc/default/sl-modem-daemon

is it ok?
i think that yesterday..it was working well..i need to verify again to see if its working now.
