Bug Description

Binary package hint: sip-tester

Current version of sip-tester included in Intrepid is: 2.0.1-1.2

sip-tester is originally named "sipp" by its authors:
http://packages.debian.org/testing/comm/sip-tester
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=104305

The latest available version of sipp is 3.1, so would be nice to have the ubuntu package upgraded to this latest stable version, as the 2.x series lack a lot of functionality.

Fix is commited in debian... when will it be available in ubuntu?
I could help on that if something is needed.

So 3.1 is now in 9.10:

$ apt-cache policy sip-tester
sip-tester:
  Installed: 3.1.r577-1
  Candidate: 3.1.r577-1
  Version table:
 *** 3.1.r577-1 0
        500 http://es.archive.ubuntu.com karmic/universe Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

I guess the bug can be closed?
