i have already install all the software related to Brother Printer DCP-J125

This FAQ is verified using Ubuntu 11.10 Beta 2.
Operation may differ in the formal release of Ubuntu 11.10.

    Install the scan driver.

    Copy the following files under /usr/lib64/ to /usr/lib/.

For brscan Users:

I am closing the simple-scan task, because looking at the workaround/fix it is clear that this is not a problem with simple-scan but with libsane/sane-backends/the scanner driver and simple-scan cannot do anything (reasonable) about this.
