Bug Description

The Ubuntu Error Tracker has been receiving reports about a problem regarding simple-scan. This problem was most recently seen with package version 3.24.0-0ubuntu1, the problem page at https://errors.ubuntu.com/problem/937053fb85cbf2a4ef19c8bd0ed3b06ea42a5a4f contains more details, including versions of packages affected, stacktrace or traceback, and individual crash reports.
