This is a bug in QTWebkit not appling the specified viewport(bug 1303050), the signon-ui needs to switch to Oxide.

Is there a known workaround for QtWebkit 5.2 ? Otherwise, we need to accelerate the oxide switch for an SRU.

I don't think we need an SRU; AFAIK, this bug happens on the phone only (on the desktop, we are using WebKit 1).
