Bug Description
Hello,
I'm not sure if this is the best way to reach you, but I didn't see any other methods on Sia's launchpad page.
Sia recently went through a chain fork which means there are now two versions of Sia. The only version currently supported by the Sia team is 1.3.7. Version 1.3.5 stayed on the alternate chain and will be maintained by a separate team. Version 1.3.0 which ubuntu currently ships won't work anymore for this reason.
Please update the Sia package to version 1.3.7 in all ubuntu releases so our users won't end up on the wrong chain.
I look forward to hearing from you,
Wim Brand (Fornax96).

When are packages normally upgraded in Ubuntu? Only when a new Ubuntu release comes out? When Ubuntu 19.04 is released Sia might already be on version 1.4.1. It would be great if you could ship a recent Sia in the next Ubuntu release.
Right now the Sia version in Ubuntu is still broken and people's wallets are at risk when using this version.
