Bug Description

I have mounted the picture share of my NAS in the Pictures directory of my computer.
$mount
//192.168.0.42/photo/ on /home/remy/Pictures type cifs (rw,mand)
The share works correctly in both reading and writing. It is only a bit slow sometimes.

Shotwell shows a "Writing metadata to files" in the lower part of the left pane few seconds after I add a tag to a group of photos.
While this writing is in progress, I remove the tag on one of the photos.
Sometimes it works, sometimes, ShotWell crashes.
Here is the terminal output:
ERROR:x86_64-linux-gnu/MetadataWriter.c:1850:metadata_writer_on_photo_dequeued: assertion failed: (!_tmp0_)
Aborted

I restart ShotWell and it crashes almost immediately. Then I restart it one more time and it works (and writes metadata slowly but correctly).

Please note that I am not 100% sure that this is the reason of the crash.
Please find attached the core dump.
