Slow and lag transition effects in slideshow mode !

Binary package hint: shotwell

Shotwell transition effects in slideshow mode are slow and lag. Maybe is caused to compiz, but i think you should improve it. Because in Unity, users can't turn off the compiz, which need to log out.

Could you give us some more information about your system? Are other programs slow, or just Shotwell?

Other are okay, (of cause that they are still slowed down a bit, due to compiz effects). Slideshow in shotwell is okay(somewhat slow and lag in compiz), but in the "fade" effect, if the image is too big, it's won't fade anymore (because it slow; therefor, "fade" effect won't have enough time to run). And other effects also need being smoother and nicer.
