Bug Description

Binary package hint: shotwell

If I import CR2 files ( Canon Raw photos) from a CF card or directly from the camera there is no preview of the images shown. Imported raw files a displayed correct.

This is a known issue in Shotwell. Part of the problem is that gphoto2 has problems pulling down the metadata from the camera (where the thumbnail resides). We're considering some options that would allow us to get around this.

I have same problem but i Have Nikon. Card from Nikon was put into card reader and same problem.

The same for me! Photos taken with a Minolta Dimage A2 in MRW format aren't thumbnailed at the import state.
