High memory usage after creating thumbnail cache.

Bug Description

Steps to reproduce the issue:

- Clear shotwell cache files.
- Start shotwell.
- Scrolling through library, generating thumbnails.

Expected Result: Moderate memory usage. Used memory for generating thumbnails will be available for the system later again.

Actual Result: In comparison to normal usage (~30MB), Shotwell uses over 800MB RAM which isn't available to the system after generating thumbnails finished.

Thank you for your reply. I'm currently using version 0.14.1 which is installed by Ubuntu 13.04 per default.
