I can't reproduce this. Are you sure you don't have an old version of Orion installed in your home directory? Check ~/.themes and ~/.local/share/themes/

I had the same issue, with a different theme. But I noticed that the locations in gtk.css were identical, so I searched for all instances of gtk.css on my computer.

~/.config/gtk-3.0/gtk.css

had some errors in it for me, and I assume yours will be the same. Six times in the file, it will have a line that starts with "background-color", and then follow it up later in the line with "background-image"... but prior to "background-image", it should have had a semicolon (at the end of the prior text, before the tab), yet the semicolon was missing. Adding the missing semicolons has corrected the error.

As Orion is currently unmaintained and needs serious updates for Gtk3 I'm closing this issue for now.

@Aielyn: Feel free to report a bug against the theme where you have that problem.

Just to add more information about the true source of this error...

It's due to gtk-theme-config - on using it, it overwrites ~/.config/gtk-3.0/gtk.css, and this is where the errors are coming from. I have confirmed that using gtk-theme-config after editing gtk.css to add the semicolons will cause them to disappear again.

I have filed a bug report against gtk-theme-config, here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gtk-theme-config/+bug/1500210 - but in the meantime, as a workaround, manually editing in the semicolons will fix the errors.

@Simon: Please note that this is not a bug with any particular theme.
