Just one more comment on why this issue really needs to be fixed: the code currently in Raring styles the widget named #menubar in lightdm-gtk-greeter. Unfortunately I wasn't aware of the fact at the time that some applications name their menubar-widgets "menubar", so my styling was too generic and in its current form also gets applied on other applications, e.g. gnome-terminal.
Furthermore there were some proposed changes for the lightdm-gtk-greeter which in the end didn't make it to Raring and which my code was designed for.
Having visual regressions in the greeter gives quite a bad first impression, so please upload the fixed version. Thanks a lot in advance!
