Did you install this machine in EFI mode, but then booted it bios-style using CSM? Or like migrate the installed system to an older machine or something?

Hi, years ago, when i buy this pc, ubuntu installer does not like EFI, so I disable it. Then when a new ubuntu version appears I just do a fresh install. Only with 20.10 I have this issue.
