Thanks for reporting this bug. It looks like this upgrade failure was caused by libgtk2-perl not being installed on your system, which was corrected as part of this exact upgrade; and therefore, running the upgrade again should complete successfully (after prompting you about SecureBoot).

Can you confirm how you applied this update? Were you using the 'Software Updater' interface?

Hello!

First of all, thank you for your answer; en please escuse my english.

Second: my real problem was tu install a wifi driver for my lenovo B590
(broadcom wifi card).

I also realise that the graphic interface was blocked with an update.
Unable to progress. I push "Install" and nothing. Severels times reboot and
still nothing, for severals days.

Today, I found a solution on the ubuntu support forum. (after writing to
you). I cann't find the exact page. But I copy/paste the commands in
terminal. This unblocked the situation:

sudo apt update

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get -y autoremove && sudo apt-get -y upgrade

cd /var/lib/apt/lists && sudo rm -rf lock

cd /var/lib/dpkg && sudo rm -rf lock

I'm not un super user of linux. I'm not sure if this is the best solution,
but it worked. Update is ok ans I was able to install the wifi driver withe
terminal. Later, I was able to install also "Synaptic".
