gstreamer errors 'could not link audioscale0 to waveenc0' when burning cd

Bug Description

Ubuntu Breezy on a powerbook, upgraded from hoary using aptitude dist-upgrade.

serpentine can add files, but when the 'Write to Disc' button is pressed, a
dialog appears:

"Converting files failed

Writing to disc disn't start so it is still usable."

~/.xsession-errors reports messages like so:

GError: could not link audioscale5 to wavenc5

(the number after audioscale and waveenc increases each time the button is
pressed, and is reset to 0 when the app is restarted)

I have gstreamer0.8 plugins installed.

This seems very simillar to bug 22501. However I still haven't found a way to
reproduce it.
