You can try to run Seamonkey from the terminal program and look at its stderr output on crash.
Also please look at lp:575160 - is not it the same behaviour, by any chance ?

Thanks for reporting this bug to Ubuntu. Please check the other bug that Wladimir Mutel suggested as it's a known issue with xulrunner-1.9.1 which Seamonkey 2 is based on and we hope to fix in the next update (Next week).

Just checked ~/.xsession-errors.old and found:
