seamonkey publishing broken

Binary package hint: seamonkey

Editing in the seamonkey composer seems to work fine, and publishing seems also to work fine (i.e., when the correct password is entered, the dialogue says publishing is successful), however no changes are made to any files on the website. Also in the editor impossible edits are able to be made... i.e., one paragraph is able to be aligned to the left of the cell, while another is centered. When saved and opened again (either in seamonkey or firefox), the edit is of course different.

I am using the Ubuntu package available in Hardy Heron. The same problem exists with a clean install of the program from the seamonkey website.
