Bug Description

I installed Seamonkey on Hardy from the Ubuntu repos, and it doesn't even load. I tried running it from the command line, and it reports nothing at all.

I found that this has to do with the fact that there is no default profile with Seamonkey, and it can't start without a profile.

I can not reproduce this bug using 8.04.2/Hardy 64-bit and Seamonkey 1.1.12/1.1.13
I made new user, switched user, logged in as new user that does not have seamonkey profile yet
and seamonkey starts and make new proflie in user`s folder.

Could you please check if that behavior for not starting can be still observer with current updated Hardy?

Confirmed on Ubuntu 9.04 + SeaMonkey 1.1.15 build 2009030300.

Creating a new profile did not work, and I was not able to launch the profile wizard or manager either. I *was* able to start seamonkey when running as root, however, so perhaps the problem is related to permissions?
