Bug Description
SDDM in the default (and only provided) theme doesn't allow a custom username to be entered.
Unfortunately it also only shows local users, thus when you have your machine in some sort of directory (LDAP / Active directory as an example), it is impossible to log in.
The default theme has to provide a method to enter a user name manually, else in set-ups such as enterprises or universities, where no local users are created and just directories are used, sddm is completely unusable.
Therefore I recommend a very high severity for this bug.

Version: Ubuntu Vivid
Packages: sddm 0.11.0-0ubuntu10 / sddm-theme-breeze 4:5.2.2-0ubuntu3: amd64 i386
What I expected to happen: After upgrading to Vivid I expected to be able to log in
What happened instead: I was not able to log in
How this should be fixed: either switch to a different default theme which does offer a username field or edit the default theme to offer it optionally.
