Bug Description

Binary package hint: scrollkeeper

libscrollkeeper0 package is missing in Karmic, but glade-doc depends on it, so installing glade-doc fails.

libscrollkeeper0 was however available in Jaunty.

I looked it up and it seems that the real issue is that scrollkeeper is outdated and possibly no longer being maintained. It seems as though it has been replaced by rarian, thus glade may need to be updated/repackaged to work with librarian0 if scrollkeeper is no longer going to be included....

Still an issue. Any ideas for how to get glade-doc to install?

Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
glade-doc: Depends: libscrollkeeper0 but it is not installable
E: Broken packages

Piscium,
I personally resolved this by using the package from http://packages.ubuntu.com/jaunty/libscrollkeeper0

I must say, this is not the ideal scenario, nor is it a supported configuration as libscrollkeeper0 appears to not have the support to maintain it that we require for packages.

This appears to be working for me so far, but "Your mileage may vary."

Thanks, Jeremy, I also had had the same idea, and it fixed the problem.
