i was updating packages before upgrading to 8.04 when i got that message. can't remember what package was setting when i got the error

now when i log in for the first time on 8.04 got this message of a previous crash

I had the same problem. It appears to occur when trying to upgrade update-manager while scrollkeeper update is running.
