update-manager didn't install???

Bug Description

Binary package hint: update-manager

I upgraded from 7.10 to 8.04, when it rebooted into 8.04 the first time I got some "crash notification" and it said something like update-manager could not be installed. Then I got here.

Is your system otherwise working ok? And did the upgrade finish?

I just booted up again - didn't get that crash message and everything appears to be working fine - including Update Manager when I launch it from the System menu. Update Manager is working very slow but I'm sure that's because the entire planet is upgrading to 8.04 today. :)
