This is quite a strange bug - the dpkgterminallog.txt file indicates that it wasn't trying to install ubuntu-docs 8.03.2 at all, but rather 7.10.5 (which is the latest gutsy package). Can you explain what type of upgrade you were doing? Please paste the contents of your /etc/apt/source.list

The scrollkeeper errors seem to indicate some kind of broken scrollkeeper installation - can you post the result of "dpkg -l scrollkeeper". Is there anything odd about your installation?
