Bug Description

I open my file in Scribus 1.5.5 and go to a frame with a large chunk of text.
I click the frame and go to the Text Editor.
In the Text Editor window I select my text (or use Select All) and press Delete.
Scribus will crash with a window saying: 'Scribus crashes due to Signal #6'.

Crashes are random, but quite often.

Hi Ronnie,

without a backtrace is hard to even figure whether the relevant code changed from your version to another…
So to say, I'd like to ask you if you could check version 1.5.5+svn23928+dfsg-1 as currently available in groovy, and see whether that version keeps crashing.

Unfortunately scribus is not really keeping up with the requirements of Ubuntu (or Debian) regarding library deprecations, so I was forced to upload a version that is not really considered stable (1.5.5). :(
