Binary package hint: screen-profiles
Sometimes, when I open the screen-profiles menu, if the first action I type is "arrow down" the menu does not refresh correctly.

Hmm, interesting...
Okay, just to determine the source of the problem, could you try one thing?
Could you expand the vertical size of your gnome-terminal window by a
couple of lines and see if you can reproduce the problem?
I suspect that this is being caused by the vertical size of the menu
in ncurses....
