Bug Description

Binary package hint: scim

I have installed SCIM, m17n. I have selected Kannada (kn-inscript, kn-itrans, kn-kgp) and Hindi (hi-itrans, hi-inscript etc.)

After a fresh installation/reinstallation
When I press Ctrl+Space, by default, kn-inscript is selected, and the input comes correctly. However, once I select kn-itrans or hi-itrans, the transliteration stops and always English letters come. Once this happens, even kn-inscript (which was working earlier), stops working.

I have tried reinstalling, deleting the configuration folder (/home/user/.scim)

Let me know if any more information is needed.

All this started today. Till yesterday night everything was working fine.
