Bug Description

Binary package hint: scim

Would it be possible to add a setting for specifying the to use a filter by default?

For example, currently the only way to input traditional Chinese using Hanyu Pinyin (漢語拼音) is to use the simplified Chinese/Smart Pinyin input method + Simplified <-> Traditional filter.

Since there is no way to specify that a particular input method + filter should be used by default, however, when SCIM is first loaded it defaults to "中", so that the user must manually select "繁" (traditional) each time.

I think this bug would be best reported upstream against the scim-pinyin
package. http://scim-im.org/development/bug_reports

Please link the upstream bug report here after you've created it.
