Hi.
The J
apanese font problem of scinote is seen by 5.3 releases and current-head.
default font of scinote serves as "Lucida Sans Typewriter." . However, It cannot
express Japanese... Please see.

scinote can choose font. But, the action of Default is important.
I considered which corrects without problem in other countries whether things
could be fixed. it can solve a problem by attached patch.
It is font (Monospaced) of default set up by console.!
