scilab installation crashed when internet connection was interrupted and could not be installed after trying again

Bug Description

a program with a ? in the launcher named Terminal
reports this:
There was an error creating the child process for this terminal
Failed to execute child process "scilab-adv-cli" (No such file or directory)
with the options of:

Profile Preferences
Relaunch
the relaunch option does nothing

Currently using ubuntu 12.04 LTS
and tryed to use scilab 5.3.3-6 with the next add-ons:
-GNU fortran 95 compiler
-Scilab module for artificial neural networks
-Matlab -like plotting library for scilab
-Symbolic computations for scilab based on maxima
-Scilab wavelet and signal processing toolbox
