Bug Description

libschroedinger-1.0-0

has been causing load problems during multiple re-installs over last few weeks (been trying to set up with 11.04, in various modes, and Unity causes other irreconcilable problems. going back to new installs of 10.10, creates problem, not 11.04, but problem also occurs in those installs.)

I have been able to load/install 10.10, but get niggling problems with libschroedinger-1.0-0. Until clean install yesterday.

Ultimately libschroedinger-1.0-0 in install yesterday made system unable to load VLC and mplayer (and about a landslide of other packages/sub programs)

All seem to ultimately rely on a version difference between levels of it, and, well, here is the read out.

 libschroedinger-1.0-0:
  Depends: liborc-0.4-0 (>=1:0.4.10) but 0.4.6-1 is to be installedlibschroedinger-1.0-0:
  Depends: liborc-0.4-0 (>=1:0.4.10) but 0.4.6-1 is to be installed

Running 10.10 (new install) 64 bit (AMD) 4 Gigs ram, 1 TByte Drive (AMD Dual Core 5800)

Problem seems very related to Unity 11.04 (imho) and packages leading up to its release (but, again, my opinion). It started, I believe, on installs about 2-3 weeks ago, and has progressed. No other contra indications on system, other that horrible experiences with 11.04 Unity and mint
