HP Scanjet 3670 not work under K/Ubuntu 11.10 but under L/Xubuntu

Bug Description

Ubuntu 11.10; sane-utils: 1.0.22-2ubuntu2

Under Ubuntu and Kubuntu 11.10 my scanner HP Scanjet 3670 not longer work.

The scanner works under Ubuntu Natty, Maverick and (with a upgrade from a PPA) in Lucid.

I have found that the scanner works under Lubuntu 11.10 and Xubuntu 11.10.

I have write a question in the german forum ubuntuusers.de too

As per https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Releases 11.10 reached EOL on May 9, 2013.

If you have an issue in a supported release (ex. 16.04) please file a new report, and feel free to subscribe me to it.
