libsane fails to install

Bug Description

libsane does not install. Error is:

Setting up libsane (1.0.17-1ubuntu2) ...
rmdir: /etc/hotplug/usb: No such file or directory
dpkg: error processing libsane (--configure):
 subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1

And I tried deinstalling it. Does not change anything

work around:

sudo mkdir -p /etc/hotplug/usb /etc/hotplug.d/usb /etc/sane.d/hotplug

already fixed:

 sane-backends (1.0.17-1ubuntu3) dapper; urgency=low
 .
   * Avoid failing if old hotplug directories have already been removed.
