Can't install snapscan E25 scanner

Bug Description

I have a thread running in 'installation and upgrades' with the same title as above. Using Ubuntu 8.04, and changed the snapscan.conf file as per instructions in the thread. When I run scanimage -L, it brings up an error message saying invalid argument. Please refer to the thread for all the the info.

Paddy, thank you for reporting this and helping make Ubuntu better.

As per https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Releases 8.04 is EOL.

If you have an issue in a supported release (ex. 16.04) please file a new report, and feel free to subscribe me to it.
