Bug Description

Brother Scanner/printer remains unfound/unusable despite all steps taken.
These include installation :dpkg ­i ­­force­all (scanner­drivername) and scanskey

David Oxland, thank you for reporting this and helping make Ubuntu better.

Regarding the scanning issue, the latest version available for your hardware is brscan4-0.4.4-1.i386.deb. Could you please advise if when using this, the problem changes?

OS now Ubuntu 16.04 fresh install which required BRscan4-0.4.2-1 reinstall
All up and working well now.
Takes some diligence and persistence to complete
Once working, it works very well!
