Bug Description
Binary package hint: sane-utils
When starting scanimage --batch in Ubuntu 7.04, the scanner (Trust Compact Scan USB 19200, running as Mustek) stops after the first page:
schneidexe@
Scanning -1 pages, incrementing by 1, numbering from 1
Scanning page 1
Scanned page 1. (scanner status = 5)
Scanning page 2
scanimage: sane_start: Invalid argument
The carriage hangs at the bottom end of the scanner and does not move back to the starting position. In Ubuntu 6.06 (Dapper) with sane-utils 1.0.17 everything worked fine. In Ubuntu 7.04 (Feisty) the sane-utils package 1.0.18 is used. A workaround is to install sane-utils 1.0.17 manually and pin this version in /etc/apt/
