Bug Description
I added the following line to /lib/udev/
SYSFS{idVendor}
This was required to allow non-root users to scan with the Epson Stylus Office BX300F flatbed scanner. Without this, the scan worked fine with root only.

See the new bug #663229 for the newer fix.

This fix does not work any more, because the printer/scanner is supported by a different driver. Apparently the MODE= and GROUP= attributes aren't required any more.
