Bug Description

During install of Samba4 package, from root terminal (aptitude -y install samba4) received several errors and installation failed. Packages successfully downloaded, and unpackaged. During set set "Setting up samba4 (4.0.0~alpha18.dfsg1-4ubuntu2)", started receiving unknown parameter errors beginning with
Unknown parameter encountered: "max log size"
Ignoring unknown parameter "max log size"

followed by several more similiar unknown parameter errors. Intermixed was error "ERROR: Invalid smb.conf" which was followed by several more invalid parameter errors.

Then received

ERROR: Invalid smb.conf

Additional info - the report above incorrectly identifies I am on 10.04.1 LS - "InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS "Lucid Lynx" - Release amd64 (20100816.1)" - this is incorrect. I am on 12.04.1 amd64. for what ever reason the report tool is picking up the incorrect version (though I did upgrade from 10.04.1 LTS shortly after 12.04.1 was released).
