at the time of upgrade from 11.04 to 11.10 seen the message of samba package failed to install

We apologise for the late response, but Ubuntu 11.04 Natty Narwhal reached EOL
on October 28, 2012. See this document for currently supported Ubuntu releases:

Please upgrade to the latest version and re-test. If the problem is still
reproducible, please update this bug with the new information.
