Bug Description

Binary package hint: samba

After "aptitude install samba" and "dpkg-reconfigure samba" I´ll get an error after answering "Yes" to "Create samba password database" in Maverick

user@ubuntu:~# dpkg-reconfigure samba
>stop: Unknown instance:
>stop: Unknown instance:
>sed: -e expression #1, char 143: unknown option to `s'

Description: Ubuntu 10.10
Release: 10.10
System: Linux ubuntu 2.6.35-22-virtual #35-Ubuntu SMP Sat Oct 16 23:19:29 UTC 2010 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Package: samba 2:3.5.4~dfsg-1ubuntu8

It seems, that it´s a similar error like https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/480617 in Karmic.
