Bug Description
Binary package hint: samba
I have a windows xp machine. With shared folders named, "My Documents", "Private", "Cafe Files", "Softwares". All of these folders have sub-folders in it. All these folders have read-write permission enabled. (Allow network users to change my files: shared settings in XP ).
Opening these folders through Nautilus (press CTRL+L, then enter: smb://192.
As I have observed, shared folders with "space" on their names, i can't write to them. Like "My Documents" and "Cafe Files". I can only write to their sub-folders, not in their main folder.
No problem with shared folder with one word only. Like, "Private" or "Softwares". I can write to their main folder and sub-folders.
I hope this information is enough. I have seen old bug report about this one, but the status is already set to "invalid". We have the same problem with the reporter of that bug. It's just that his explanation is not very clear.

Same problem exist on Linux Mint 9 RC.
Confirmed working on Mandriva 2010 KDE. Haven't tested the GNOME on Mandriva.
