Domain Members can not join to Samba DC (ubuntu 9.10).

I am unable to join my PDC or any other machine to the domain controler. When i do :
net rpc -S myPDC -UmyUser&passwd (i tried whit root and doamina administrator user) i got:

I am not sure if is because the same problem but when i try to do:
root@palm:/var/log/samba# wbinfo -u -D10
Could not get domain info
getent and getgroup work fine

Possible duplicate of bug 164544? Not sure if the patch on that report is still relevant after any upgrades.

Looks like a different issue.
Was that working for you in a previous release ? Any chance you could test with Lucid's 3.4.5 to see if that's covered by the post-3.4.0 patches already ?

HI Terry, not sure in ubuntu, but i was working with a old gentoo and smaba (3.0.X ) and it work join gento PDC and ubunut DMS. I just install samba 3.4.5 and i really hope it can work because i need to join windows clients and linux domain members

I installed samba 3.4.5 and i work fine, finally. I needed to delete the files /var/lib/samba/ tdb, ldb and var/run/samba/* and /var/cache/samba/

Then do net rpc getsid and make sure the sid that i am getting is the same that i got on ldap (because i migrate ldap and asmaba to a new server).

So i can say solved.
