Bug #331046 reported by Gerhard Bogner on 2009-02-18
Affects Status Importance Assigned to Milestone
samba (Ubuntu)

Bug Description

Binary package hint: samba

Since that last update (to 2:3.3.0-3ubuntu2) I'm getting following error when starting smbd (using smbd -iS) on Ubuntu 9.04:

PANIC (pid 19703): internal error

smb_panic(): calling panic action [/usr/share/samba/panic-action 19703]
smb_panic(): action returned status 0

With all printer related options commented out in smb.conf smbd starts without error.
